Matt Meister

(.com)

I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. Formerly, I had the same role at the University of San Francisco, and received my PhD in Marketing at the University of Colorado Boulder.

I study how people learn about and evaluate their choices—especially through online information. My work combines large-scale scraped data with experiments to learn how and why people make the judgments and choices they do.

I teach marketing management, applied statistics, marketing analytics, and other marketing courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. My classes emphasize messy data, decision-making, and gaining comfort with difficult topics.
